"Enriched my understanding" ~ Dr. Chris Magoc
Host DARE NOT WALK ALONE on your campus!
Jeremy Dean, writer, director and producer of Dare Not Walk Alone is available to colleges that want to screen the film. Past screenings have received rave reviews from faculty and students alike. On these visits Jeremy typically includes classroom time and a Q&A session after the screening.
A fee is charged for an engagement like this but many schools have ways to fund this, like ticket sales, academic budget, grants, etc.
If your school would like to host a screening of the film with Jeremy Dean, please email: speaker@dnwa.info.
(Note: Campus screenings attended by Dare Not Walk Alone producers are conducted as licensed film work shops. As with most retail DVDs, the Dare Not Walk Alone DVDs that you buy in stores are not licensed for public exhibition or use in schools. For educational licensing email info@dnwa.info.)
What Faculty Say About Dare Not Walk Alone:
"I want, first of all, to thank you for making Dare Not Walk Alone. What a powerful film. I have been teaching the civil rights era for 15 years, but your film enriched my understanding and appreciation for the significance of St. Augustine in 1964. The issues of legacy and unmet challenges of the movement are nowhere better addressed than in your film."

Excellent film. Real problems put on film which forces you to examine your community.
~~ Mark Brandenburg, Rollins College.
Excellent! First time I’ve seen juxtaposition of civil rights progress with continuing oppression in same film. I’d like to show it in my US government class.
